Pay Traffic Fines

Shasta County Superior Court partners with Official Payments Corp® to offer traffic fine payments over the internet and by telephone. Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and Discover® credit and debit cards are accepted. As the service provider, Official Payments charges a convenience fee for payment processing.

DO NOT PAY YOUR CITATION ONLINE:

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ATTENDING TRAFFIC SCHOOL,
IF YOU ARE CONTESTING YOUR CITATION, OR
IF YOUR CITATION INVOLVES A CORRECTABLE VIOLATION.

By paying online, you are WAIVING the option of Traffic School or Court Trial. Your case will be closed with a conviction immediately posted to your driving record. Refer to our Traffic Division web page for further details.

Your citation number is required to make payment in full online. Payments are also accepted via telephone by calling (530) 245-6789. You must know your citation/ticket number and submit your request any time prior to your appearance date to make payment using this service.

PLEASE NOTE: Monthly installment payments cannot be processed through this payment system at this time. If you wish to make a monthly payment, contact the Court Collections Division. If you wish to set up monthly payments, contact the Traffic Unit Clerk‘s Office. The minimum-allowed monthly payment is $50.00.

If your ticket was not issued within Shasta County, you may still be able to pay it online. Click the Official Payments link below for more information.


Online payments functionality is not available at this time, but will be enabled in the near future.

To pay your traffic ticket, you must mail the payment to the traffic clerk at the main courthouse building – 1515 Court Street, Redding, CA 96001.- Room 110, or physically see the clerk at the same location to perform the transaction.
